Environmental challenges need more than one discipline
Eco-futurism puts human values, cultural narratives, historical memory and social justice at the centre of the path to sustainability.
What happened
The School of Arts and Humanities organised this two-day international conference with WWF-India, in association with LA IQAC, IIC and the Research Cell. It brought scholars, filmmakers, activists and students together to explore sustainability and ecological futures.
The conference strengthened interdisciplinary research awareness, academic presentation, communication, critical thinking and creative expression. An MOU between WWF-India and Loyola Academy is underway, which would make the college the first in Telangana to collaborate with WWF.
