Introduction

MSc. Data Science department courses are designed in a way that the students are job ready. This curriculum will be annually revised, so it is relevant to the present technology and requirements at any workspace. The syllabus is designed along with university nominee, subject expert, and industrial expert. Industry academician Interaction with the students is arranged to guide, motivate, and give inputs on current trends.

  • GENERAL SEMINAR

The students of M.Sc. in I year I semester select the latest IEEE/Elsevier/Springer/ ACM/IET publication papers that are trending and unique and know the literature survey on it and present the paper. In the year 2020-21 students presented their General Seminars.

  • CERTIFICATIONS

The Department of M.Sc. Data Science Students in 2020-21 got Nptel certifications in Python for Data Science, Data Mining, Data Analytics, Real Time Operating System. The Department of M.Sc. Data Science Students in 2020-21 got Kaggle certifications in python, Introduction to Machine Learning, Intermediate Machine Learning. The Department of M.Sc. Data Science Students in 2020-21 got coursera certifications In Programming for Everybody, Introduction to Cyber Security Tools and Cyber Attacks.

  • MINI PROJECTS

The Students of M.Sc. Data Science I year II semester do Mini Projects in their summer vacation on Machine Learning, Data Mining etc. And these projects are evaluated in Data Science II year I semester. Mini Projects have started from the academic year 2021-22 onwards

  • VAMSHI KRISHNA,JAISON,V RAMU,N ASHFAQ – MSc Data science students have taken part in the 4×400 m Relay race and further qualified for the final event and bagged 2nd prize in the Relay race.
  • Event: Resonance( Inter college national level dance competition) Date: 07/12/22 Abhijit has participated in Resonance( Inter college national level dance competition) on 7th december,2022 and secured first position in group dance.

  • Event: Indian hiphop dance championship(National level hip hop championship) Date: 18/02/23 Abhijit has participated in  Indian hiphop dance championship on 18th february,2023 and secured third position in group dance.
