Introduction

BBA ROM [BACHELORS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN RETAIL OPERATION MANAGEMENT] is a 3 year undergraduate study of the key principles and operations involved in retailing and retail
establishments. The course covers all the basic aspects of the retail industry and provides a student with the necessary knowledge and skill-set to succeed in the retail industry.

The main focus of the BBA in Retail Management course revolves around the study of activities such as purchasing, inventory control and management, personnel and resource management,
marketing, merchandising, management of finances. The course takes students through the core areas of Retail operations including Marketing, Sales, Strategy management, etc.
The program specializes in traditional and digital retail functions and is tailored to the unique and growing needs of the retail industry, including strategic thinking, advanced communication
skills, organizational development, and market planning.

Best Practices

The best part of the course is that it is not limited just to the classrooms but also it provides the students with practical exposure to the retail management by allotting half of the working days for the OJTs [On job training]. The students are not only understanding the processes of retailing, but also gaining very good experience in the field, by which it’ll become easier for the students to get adapted to the work atmosphere in the future.
