Hostel
Loyola Boys Hostel and Loyola Girls Hostel are well-designed hostels for men and women with all necessary amenities for boarding and other recreational activities.
Objectives
Based on the ideals of Jesuit education, these hostels
- Emphasize individual care and concern for each person
- Prepare students for active life commitment
- Inculcate in them life-long openness to growth
- Instill in them a concern for the poor
- Motivate them to be good and value-oriented
- Seek to form them into “men and women for others” and thereby molding them into responsible and respectable citizens of our country
Boys - Hostel
The hostel building is situated on campus B of Loyola Academy. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and vast playgrounds. The hostel can accommodate 175 students. There are 32 rooms and 10 well-furnished dormitories. First-year Intermediate students stay in dormitories and second-year & all degree students stay in rooms. Apart from living rooms, there is a study hall, a prayer hall, a recreation hall and a computer room.
Mess
The mess is run on the dividing system on a no-profit-no-loss basis. Hence, the mess fee varies according to the menu, the number of students and the cost of provisions. Hostel administration ensures that hygienic and quality food is served to the inmates. All the hostellers can have meals at a time in the spacious and well-furnished dining hall. Apart from breakfast, lunch and supper, snacks and tea are provided in the evening.
Study
Morning, evening and night study hours are strictly monitored. Strict silence is observed during study hours. Combined studies and group discussions are allowed when required. Students are often reminded that the main purpose of staying in the hostel is to spend more time in study.
Games and other activities
The hostel has vast playgrounds with facilities for outdoor games like Basketball, Volleyball Football and Cricket. All the students are encouraged to take part in sports and games. The facility is also provided to play indoor games like Chess, Caroms, Chinese checkers etc.
Students are given opportunities to exhibit their talents and develop various skills by participating in the cultural activities and contests conducted in the hostel. A number of students are given leadership responsibility in order to coordinate various activities in the hostel.
Outings and Visitors
In general students are free to go for an outing on Sundays between 1.00 pm and 6.00 pm. Students are allowed to go home only during the major holidays and summer vacation. Other times they are not allowed to go home.
Visiting days and time: Second Saturdays and all Sundays between 1.00 pm and 6.00 pm.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Only those students who have secured admission in the college are eligible to apply for hostel accommodation. Admission into hostel is preceded by Fr. Director’s interview with the student along with the parents. Hostel admission is for one academic year only. A student who desires admission for the following academic year has to submit an application form before he leaves for summer vacation. Admission into next year is entirely at the discretion of Fr. Director, who takes into consideration the academic performance and the general behaviour of the student.

Girls Hostel
Loyola Academy Degree and PG College in Secunderabad has a wonderfully designed hostel for Girls with all necessary amenities for boarding and other leisure activities. The hostel has its own kitchen to provide healthy and hygienic food to the students. It caters to the needs of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Structural Design
The Girls Hostel Building is a Square with an inner garden. It is an RCC roofed two-storied building (Ground floor + First Floor). It was built in 1983. It accommodates 115 students. It has a spacious dining hall. It is located adjacent to the Management Residence. It is close to the Library and Prayer Hall. It has twenty-four hours running water facility.
Sports
Indoor games like carom and chess are provided for the inmates. Behind the Hostel, there are two Shuttle grounds. In front of the Hostel, there are kiosks. The sports equipment is provided by the sports committee of the hostel. The Hostel has access to Basketball and Volleyball courts. In the newly built Indoor Stadium the girls are encouraged to play Basketball as well as Shuttle.
Rooms
All are shared rooms. Each student is provided with a bed, a study table and a study chair.
Loyola Girls Hostel Committees
The hostel has various committees vis-à-vis, cultural, sports, mess, maintenance and prayer hall activities to provide opportunities for the overall development of the personalities during their stay in the hostel. These committees serve to organize all the events in the hostel.
The hostel provides daily newspapers. Students can also utilize the hostel TV during their leisure hours.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
All Female students who have secured admission in the college may apply. One needs to obtain the Application Form from the Hostel Office and fill in all the details and submit the same along with the copy of College Fee Paid Receipt. Selection is based on merit, geographical location and economic condition of the candidate. Preference is given to the students who are from other states and from the rural areas of Telangana. All selected candidates will be receiving a message from the Hostel Management for further confirmations. INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL BE REJECTED.

Admissions are only for One Year only. Every year one has to re-apply. Admission in the College doesn’t guarantee automatic Admission in the Hostel. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
