These hours are 55 minutes each in duration. The students are given a 45 minute lunch break at the end of the first three hours. The day order system is followed, consisting of 6 day orders. These day orders are pre-determined and mentioned in the handbook, which is given out to students at the beginning of the academic year.

A day at Loyola Academy begins with the daily prayer. Classes begin at 9:30 AM and end at 2:50 PM. Each subject in a course is given 30 to 90 hours in a semester.
