About IPR

Intellectual property (IP) is intangible property that comes in various forms and plays a key role in every sector (industry, corporate, start-ups, academia, etc.).

Research & Development (R&D) activities around the world are increasing many folds realizing the importance of research in the present world. Intellectual property protection (IPP) is more important to researchers and research-based industries including academia because the R&D process is costly and time-consuming. Therefore, the IPR cell at Loyola Academy acts as a facilitator of R&D activities & IPR filings, encourages innovation, and fosters the economic growth of the country.
