Beginning in the academic year of 2006-07, the Department of M.Sc. Biotechnology has been a fore-runner in the state in its field. It quickly became one of the more popular departments, in the Academy, because of the opportunities it provided to both its students and its faculty

Admissions to our M.Sc. Biotechnology course is through Osmania University Common Entrance Text and admissions allotted by Convener OU, Hyderabad.
Admissions to our Food Technology courses happen through the commonĀ Loyola admissionsĀ route.

An elective titled āBasics of Biotechnologyā and “Advances in Biotechnology” allows students other MSc streams to gain an exposure in the area of bio-technology while bolstering their credits.
